Back once more to hit you with another round of highs and lows, SOVAGE STYLE !
But mainly HIGHS and just a transparent update about LE BINOME MKII.
So please, give me 4 minutes of your precious time, I swear you won’t regret it!
LE BINOME already had an MK2 last year, not because of technical issues, but for improvements. It’s the centerpiece of my percussive sound design, and I’ve finally landed on the ultimate version, one that merges ideas from several of my upcoming modules into a single beast.
This means maximum value and possibilities in one package, instead of me releasing 3 other modules to do the same job.
The MKIII is the definitive version, the one I had in mind from the beginning. It pushes the circuit to its full potential. There won’t be another version next year, so no worries about missing out right after buying. And yes, you know I don’t sleep SOOO the prototype is already 90% done, and I could launch it in two weeks…BUT of course , the damn faceplates will take 4 weeks. 😅So here’s the question:
Do you want to wait for MKIII, or are you still happy with MKII?Let me know, but seriously, the last version is a real upgrade, at the same price and HP.
What’s Changing?
The goal: Keep the same price and format, cut the "ok" features, and add features that really matter, more stuff to tweak = healthier brain + better sound design options!
So far, the MKIII has a new layer of analog life, it’s more dynamic, more expressive.
Besides my custom EG curves, I’ve added the ability to mimic classic vintage machines like the TR-909 or even the super-fast EG of the SH-101.

DELETIONS:
Removed the Master Zone control = Now you’ll get independent controls for channel A and B, replacing the old offset knobsRemoved the Decay CV attenuator, let’s be real, I always had it maxed out anyway…
ADDITIONS:
Per channel:
Accent input, separate from Level CV, just like a real drum machine
Additionnal 3 way envelope curve switch, for clickless ultra-fast envelopes & TR-style exponential vintage curves.
Manual trigger? Want it? Let me know!
Decay normalled to filter frequency CV = instant kicks, toms, zaps, and kangkang without extra patch cables!
Still working on an addition of a Lowpass filter, hardest part because of the weird filter topology I designed, but it’s coming. That’s the last 10%, we all need a low pass in our patches ! What was I thinking !
